From your perspective, does publisher involvement in writing strengthen a book, or should it remain the author’s sole responsibility?

I think publishers should have a balanced level of involvement in the writing process—enough to ensure quality, clarity, and market fit, but not so much that they take away the author’s original voice. Editorial guidance and feedback can really strengthen a manuscript when done collaboratively.
